Legal information

General Terms of Services

Framework for work entrusted to the studio. Each project has its own proposal and contract, which take precedence over this document.

Draft document: items in square brackets must be completed, and the full text reviewed by a qualified legal professional before publication. This text is not legal advice.

01Core principle

Actual project work begins only once the contract is signed and the agreed initial payment conditions have been fulfilled.

02Services and proposals

The scope of each engagement is defined in a written proposal. Quotation validity: 15 days.

03Contract formation

The contract is formed when both parties sign the proposal or engagement contract.

04Payments and milestones

A 50% deposit is paid before the service begins; the remaining 50% is paid on delivery. Each invoice is payable within a maximum of 48 hours of receipt. Project expenses: no external expense is incurred without the client's prior written approval; the studio advances these costs and re-invoices them at cost, upon presentation of supporting documents.

05Client responsibilities

The client provides the necessary information, content, access and approvals in good time and appoints a decision-maker.

06Discovery and strategy

Discovery and strategy phases are deliverables in their own right and are invoiced as such.

07Deliverables and acceptance

Acceptance terms and periods depend on each project and are set out in the proposal.

08Revisions and additional work

Included revision rounds: [TO BE DEFINED IN EACH PROPOSAL]. Out-of-scope requests receive a separate quotation.

09Delays and scope changes

Client-caused delays or scope changes may lead to schedule and budget adjustments agreed in writing.

10Cancellation and termination

[CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION TERMS TO BE DEFINED AFTER LEGAL REVIEW]

11Intellectual property and usage rights

The rights granted to the client, their scope and conditions (including full payment) are set out in each contract. [TO BE CONFIRMED]

12Portfolio

Unless refused in writing or covered by a confidentiality agreement, the studio may show the project in its portfolio and communications. [TO BE CONFIRMED]

13Confidentiality

Each party keeps confidential any non-public information received from the other.

14Third-party services and licences

Fonts, photography, software, hosting and other third-party licences remain subject to their providers' terms and, unless stated otherwise, are borne by the client.

15Maintenance and support

Post-delivery maintenance and support are covered by a separate agreement. [TO BE CONFIRMED]

16Liability, applicable law and disputes

[LIABILITY LIMITS, APPLICABLE LAW, DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND JURISDICTION TO BE DEFINED AFTER LEGAL REVIEW]
